About the Design

BLM Mashups are our Gen X punk way of graphically expressing allyship with Black Lives Matter and culturally reappropriating traditionally white rock imagery for POC. “VU: Voices Unchained” remakes the cover of the Velvet Underground’s compilation to show how one voice's last words inspired a collective roar that is too loud to ever silence. We hope this recomposition will inspire rockers to display the BLM message with pride, strength and love. 75% of all sales will go directly to BLM.
