About the Design

BLM Mashups are our Gen X punk way of graphically expressing our allyship with Black Lives Matter and culturally reappropriating traditionally white rock imagery for POC. "Unknown Numbers" repurposes Joy Division's iconic "Unknown Pleasures" pulsar image to represent the incalculable masses lost to racist violence from 1619 to today. We hope this recomposition will entice indie rockers to display the BLM message with pride, strength and love. 75% of all sales will go directly to BLM.
