About the Design

BLM Mashups are our Gen X punk way of graphically expressing allyship with Black Lives Matter and culturally reappropriating traditionally white rock imagery for POC. Referencing an infamous Black Flag song and Raymond Pettibon illustration, ”Police Story 2020" repurposes the band’s iconic logo to signal BLM’s fight against systemic racism. We hope this recomposition will entice OG hardcore punks to display the BLM message with pride, strength and love. 75% of all sales will go directly to BLM.
