About the Design

BLM Mashups are our Gen X punk way of graphically expressing allyship with Black Lives Matter and culturally reappropriating traditionally white rock imagery for POC. "I Have a Dream Nation" redirects the contemplative power of Gerhard Richter's "Kerze" for Sonic Youth's "Daydream Nation" toward the candlelight vigils and defiance represented by the shadow of the BLM fist the candle's flame casts upon the wall—and connects it with the legacy of MLK. 75% of all sales will go directly to BLM.
