About the Design

BLM Mashups are our Gen X punk way of graphically expressing allyship with Black Lives Matter and culturally reappropriating traditionally white rock imagery for POC. “Black Pride/Black Power/Black Lives Matter” repurposes the classic Velvet Underground album and adds George Floyd’s haunting graffiti image to honor him and the movement. We hope this recomposition will inspire rockers to display the BLM message with pride, strength and love. 75% of all sales will go directly to BLM.
