About the Design

BLM Mashups are our Gen X punk way of graphically expressing allyship with Black Lives Matter and culturally reappropriating traditionally white rock imagery for POC. “Backin Black” repurposes AC/DC’s high-voltage logo and classic album to convey BLM’s unyielding endurance and—with a subtle tweak in the title—the wearer’s support for the movement. We hope this recomposition will inspire rockers to display the BLM message with pride, strength and love. 75% of all sales will go directly to BLM.
